About The Role
Nickson is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Finance Team within our fast-growing venture. The Finance team is responsible for supporting both the corporate and entity level operations with financial analysis. Financial analysis will include comparing actual to budget and forecast, monthly forecasting, annual budgeting process, entity, region, customer, product line and margin analysis, tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPI's), etc.
This position delivers analysis as part of the finance processes, linking financial results to operational performance drivers. The financial analyst also interfaces with internal customers, key stakeholders in the organization, and corporate finance function.
A successful candidate for this role drives continuous improvement of the work product and key processes impacting the business and operations. This position will report to the CEO and interface with the heads of operations, customer experience, and tech on a daily basis.
Responsibilities
- Driving the financial reporting process which includes helping to close the monthly financials.
- Supporting the CEO in development of quarterly presentation for Board of Directors Meetings.
- Providing decision support by financial modeling, business case analysis, and financial reporting.
- Participating in the development of strategic and operational objectives.
- Preparing variance analysis required for budget / forecast preparation and completion.
- Preparing monthly financial forecast including income statement and balance sheet updates.
- The Analyst will be responsible for assisting with financial reporting, financial analysis, and implementation of financial strategy.
- The Analyst will also assist the CEO in driving the company’s finance function and participate in the development, direction, execution, and reconciliation of forecasts and budgets.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or finance preferred. CPA is a plus.
- 1-3 years of work experience related experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related role, preferably within corporate FP&A role or program, financial services, or a high-growth organization.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analytics.
- Honesty and Integrity above all.
Pay and Benefits
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
