About the Team:
EPIC (Engineering, Product, Innovation, and Cloud) Business Operations is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst with a focus on business case creation to join our dynamic tech company.
About the Role:
As a Business Analyst in our organization, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and evaluating various business opportunities and projects, with an emphasis on creating compelling and data-driven business cases. Your expertise in financial modeling, market analysis, and strategic planning will be instrumental in driving key decisions that will shape our company's growth and success.
Responsibilities:
- Business Case Creation: Lead the development of comprehensive and well-structured business cases for investments in technologies and other initiatives, assessing their viability, feasibility, and potential returns. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and insights to support your analyses.
- Financial Modeling: Utilize your strong financial acumen to construct complex financial models, including cost-benefit analyses and ROI calculations. Assess the financial implications of proposed investments and provide valuable insights to guide decision-making.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with key stakeholders and executives to align business cases with the company's strategic goals and objectives. Provide clear and concise recommendations to drive effective decision-making at all levels of the organization.
- Data Analysis and Interpretation: Utilize data analytics tools to gather and analyze relevant data from various sources. Transform raw data into meaningful insights that support the business case and provide evidence for potential project success.
- Risk Assessment: Identify and evaluate potential risks and challenges associated with proposed investments.
- Communication and Presentation: Effectively communicate complex financial and analytical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Present business cases in a clear, persuasive, and visually appealing manner to gain buy-in and support for proposed initiatives.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry best practices, trends, and emerging technologies related to business analysis and business case creation. Proactively suggest process improvements and contribute to the refinement of business analysis methodologies within the organization.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on creating business cases for projects and initiatives in a technology-driven environment.
- Financial Expertise: Proven experience in financial modeling, cost-benefit analysis, and ROI calculations.
- Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to gather, interpret, and analyze data from various sources. Proficiency in using data analytics tools and techniques.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and understandable manner.
- Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Proactive problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with a keen eye for detail.
Preferred:
- A Master's degree in Business Administration.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the technology industry and a good understanding of tech-related business processes and challenges.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
