Job Description
Opportunity at a Glance
The Senior Licensing & Accreditation Analyst is responsible for ensuring that all institutions and business units are in compliance with state, federal, and accreditor requirements by obtaining and maintaining approval to operate, grant degrees, and recruit in all applicable jurisdictions. The Senior Analyst also supports each ATGE institution through advising on regulatory policies, standards, processes, and guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Performs all roles of the analyst as needed.
- Works with appropriate business owners to gather data elements and required materials necessary to complete all applications and reports.
- Ensures compliant and timely submission of all relevant application materials.
- Maintains all relevant databases and resource materials required to perform assigned tasks.
- Reviews and assesses institutional implications of current and proposed regulations, presents analysis to leaders, and proposes solutions.
- Participates in special assignments on an as-needed basis and performs related duties as assigned.
- May be assigned to mentor a new colleague, depending on experience.
- Responsible for maintaining relevant regulatory heat maps.
- Leads multiple complex projects concurrently.
- Assists with developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Assists with the assessment of new institutional initiatives that require regulatory approvals and helps prioritize the work stream to obtain those approvals.
- Assists Manager in assessing institutional implications of current/proposed/new regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Complies with all policies and standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Master's Degree preferred.
- 4 years of previous work experience in a federal/state regulated environment; required.
- Experience in higher education licensing or accreditation preferred.
- Experience gathering and analyzing various types of data and communicating information in a variety of prescribed forms required.
- Motivated self-starter who can consistently complete projects and assigned tasks on or ahead of schedule with little to no supervision.
- General computing skills and experience using Microsoft Office software required.
- Excellent organizational, oral and written communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong work ethic.
- Superb proof-reading skills.
- Ability to interact with senior leadership and outside agencies in a professional manner.
- Writing samples required.
Additional Information
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $49,199 and $86,253. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
