Robertshaw is seeking a Financial Analyst who will be responsible for financial analysis support of the aftermarket business segment. Role will also contribute to monthly management reporting, prepare ad hoc analysis, and participate in projects as needed.
Specific Job Duties Include
- Drive standard work automation and process improvements
- Price maintenance upload and supervision of GSS team members during maintenance of administration of pricing
- Maintenance and update of external party portals and supervision of GSS team members during activity
- Create and analyze monthly and weekly reporting, including inventory, past dues, cost savings and other operational metrics
- Maintain data integrity of company’s KPIs
- Work with segment sales leaders and plant controllers as appropriate to consolidate and analyze revenue and EBITDA bridges
- Create financial models and complete financial analysis for decision support
- Variance analysis, budget development and forecasting, and monthly management presentation preparation
- Serve as primary/initial point of contact with sales leaders on financial matters and related questions
- Identify areas of opportunity and process improvement in areas of responsibility
- Leverage statistical and operational data to draw correlation between periodic operational and financial results, providing greater insight and decision-making abilities to senior management
- Help in addressing any ad hoc requests on a daily basis
- Other duties, responsibilities, and qualifications may be required and/or assigned as necessary.
Qualifications
- Solid understanding of manufacturing cost structure and variance
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and adapt quickly to business and economic changes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products, particularly Excel
- Hyperion/Oracle EPM knowledge preferred
Experience, Skills, And Education
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- At least three years in finance and/or accounting as a financial analyst
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products, particularly Excel and Power Point
