CreditAssociates, a successful and rapidly growing consumer financial services company located in Plano, Texas, is seeking a Business Analyst to collaborate with business stakeholders and senior business leaders to identify strategic and innovative uses of technology and processes to drive business growth, profitability, and efficiencies. Our ideal candidate has multiple years of experience as a business analyst. Responsibilities:
- Identify and analyze business requirements for small to mid-size/ moderately complex projects and/or various business areas.
- Gather and document business requirements, user stories with acceptance criteria, and functional and non-functional requirements, to aid in the development of new solutions and products.
- Define and negotiate objectives based on user needs and an understanding of business rules.
- Help facilitate the Agile process.
- Assist the Scrum Team in focusing on creating high-value increments that meet the Definition of Done.
- Ensure that all Scrum Events take place and are positive, productive, and kept within the timebox.
- Enable the removal of impediments to the Scrum Team’s progress.
- Facilitate communication and partnership inside and outside the team.
- Foster self-organization and cross-functionality of the team.
- Assist the team in establishing what they can achieve during each sprint (or other period).
- Facilitate stakeholder partnership as requested or needed.
- Lead, train, and coach the organization in its Agile adoption.
- Work with product owners to maintain and groom the backlogs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of BA experience, working in a technology environment.
- Ability to act as Scrum Master for client projects, along with Business Analysis responsibilities.
- Experience in executing projects with Agile life cycle management; familiarity with JIRA, Microsoft ADO, etc.; understanding of various Software Development Lifecycle methodologies is an advantage.
- Experience in the finance industry as a business analyst is a plus.
- Prior consulting experience is a plus.
- Working knowledge of technical engineering best practices including test-driven development, continuous integration, and DevOps is a plus.
