Overview
Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality home health and hospice care. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Information Security to join our team and ensure the protection of our information assets.
The Vice President of Information Security will define and implement our IT security strategy, collaborating closely with the CIO to manage our security infrastructure and ensure a robust and proactive security posture. This role is crucial in safeguarding our organization against emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
Location: 6688 N. Central Expressway, Dallas, TX 75206.
Responsibilities
- Lead the IT security team in daily operations and long-term strategic initiatives.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity program addressing identified risks and business requirements.
- Analyze and assess the current and future threat landscape, providing realistic risk assessments to management.
- Maintain a knowledge base of cybersecurity advisories, trends, best practices, laws, and regulations.
- Oversee threat and vulnerability management activities, recommending and communicating risk treatment plans.
- Manage security projects, providing expert guidance on cybersecurity for other IT projects.
- Support disaster recovery planning by advising on recovery strategies and ensuring effective development, testing, and maintenance of plans.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field (Master’s degree in Information Security preferred).
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) credentials required.
- Minimum of 7 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in an information security role and 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Extensive experience with common information security management frameworks and familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, HIPAA, EU Privacy Directive).
- Proficiency in performing risk, business impact, control, and vulnerability assessments, and defining treatment strategies.
- Experience in developing and documenting security architecture and plans, including strategic, tactical, and project plans.
- Knowledge of cryptography and cryptanalysis principles.
- Experience with application technology testing (white box, black box, code review) and system technology security testing.
