As an Accounting Analyst at Texas Instruments, you will apply the skills gained through your college experiences while also developing valuable business and technical skills. Accounting opportunities are available across the spectrum of business and operations functions including Tax, Audit, Financial Accounting, and Cost Accounting.
In your first year with TI, you will participate in the Career Accelerator Program (CAP), which provides professional and technical training and resources to accelerate your ramp into TI and set you up for long-term career success. Within this program, we also offer function-specific technical training and on-the-job learning opportunities that will encourage you to solve problems through a variety of hands-on, meaningful experiences from your very first day on the job.
Your role will be in the Accounting function, including but not limited to the below areas:
- Tax: you will drive robust compliance and forecasting processes for the company’s corporate tax group and partner with stakeholders across the company to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. In addition, you will assist with the preparation of the worldwide tax expense forecast, support profit levels in relevant jurisdictions, and prepare and validate data for tax compliance and reporting.
- Audit: you will engage and collaborate with process owners and business leaders across the company, leveraging and designing innovative data analytics to evaluate levels of risk and lead or support audits to assess the effectiveness of process operations. In addition, you will identify, research, and study changes across the company to assess the impact on the company’s risk environment.
- Financial Accounting: you will collaborate with stakeholders across the company to ensure accurate, high quality and timely reporting for internal closes and external financial filings, while driving robust compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements. This will include managing various accounting processes, internal research projects and external benchmarking to ensure adherence to both local (statutory) as well as US GAAP accounting standards.
- Cost Accounting: you will drive excellence in accounting compliance, financial integrity, and internal controls for your organization. You will provide meaningful, accurate, and high-quality financial reporting for stakeholders and leaders across TI and around the world. You will also be key in ensuring adherence to accounting standards like US GAAP, SOX, and internal TI policies.

Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA
- Knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and accounting standards
Preferred qualifications:
- Systems knowledge/skills including: Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); SAP a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding analytical skills, critical and creative thinking, problem-solving abilities, and detail-oriented
- Strong leadership and initiative
