We are looking for a talented rising college senior to join the Talcott Finance team as a 2025 Summer Financial Analyst Intern. This role provides the opportunity to learn about the annuity industry, develop analytical & technical skillsets, and work in a collaborative team environment.
The Summer Financial Analyst Intern will be assigned to work on two 5-week projects within the Capital, Expense, Financial Planning & Analysis, Financial Reporting, and/or Treasury departments. Project specifics will vary depending on the assignment; however, each project will require the intern to develop innovative solutions to complex financial problems.
The internship program spans 10 weeks (40 work hours per week) and will begin in late-May 2025. It is located in Hartford, Connecticut. No housing or relocations provided.
Qualifications:- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Math, Insurance, and/or Economics; GPA of 3.4+ preferred
- Rising senior or junior with prior internship experience
- Demonstrates analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with proven attention to details
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate information
- Exhibits high level of interpersonal skills and has proven track record of success in team environments
- Use of Microsoft Office Suite through class assignments or prior internship experience
- Leadership experience outside of the classroom
