The Opportunity:
Our Customer Value Innovation team is looking for an Analyst to gather, organize, analyze, and interpret customer data related to LG Electronics and its competitors. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment, working independently with general supervision. Responsibilities include analyzing customer feedback records by identifying trends from both third-party and internal systems, covering all stages of the customer journey. This role will also collaborate across departments and subsidiaries to develop sensing capabilities for various operations. Frequent collaboration with team members through platforms such as MS Outlook, MS Teams, SMS, video conferencing, and other communication tools is essential.
This position can also be located at our Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey location.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzing conversational data to identify keyword topics for building effective sensing structures.
- Interpreting data to uncover inconsistencies or anomalies that prompt further research.
- Streamlining data collection and analysis processes to ensure rapid access to key metrics.
- Developing and reviewing queries and documentation for VOC (Voice of the Customer) systems to support process improvements.
- Participating in performance review, project management, and other relevant meetings as needed.
Qualifications / Education / Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Digital Technologies, Social Media Management, or a related field.
- Five or more years of experience in data analytics and/or data management may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Two years of experience using systems that apply Boolean operators to analyze text and build conversation models.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- A curious and self-motivated attitude aimed at driving process improvements and enhancing output.
Preferred Requirements:
- Strong understanding of customer service concepts and related technologies.
- Proficiency in building English Language Models for topic sensing.
- 2-3 years of experience with social media analytics tools like Sprinklr or Khoros.
- 1-2 years of experience with QualtricsXM Studio and/or Designer.
- Excellent communication skills, especially in presenting data insights to leadership.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL or a comparable relational database management system (RDBMS).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
