StraCon Services Group, LLC is seeking a full-time Senior Corporate Financial Analyst to join our Finance and Accounting team. This role is pivotal in budgeting, reporting, and managing the efficient allocation of resources within our projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset and be proactive in making recommendations to improve operations. The Senior Corporate Financial Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following requirements.
- Develops and manages project budgets and financial reports
- Conducts thorough financial analysis to support decision-making processes
- Oversees the allocation and utilization of workforce and funding
- Provides financial support to the Finance and Accounting Department and collaborates with other various departments to ensure financial alignment with project goals
- Makes recommendations to improve operational efficiency
- Supports a variety of management activities, corporate initiatives, special projects, and data calls
- Prepares, reviews, and approves monthly invoicing, reporting, reconciliations, contract modifications, and other financial transactions
Travel Requirements:
- Limited travel may be required for new projects
Experience Requirements:
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn new systems quickly
- Detailed understanding and application of financial principles, concepts, practices and standards
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint is preferred
- Knowledge of FAR/DFARS preferred
Education Requirements:
- BA/BS degree in Finance or related field with at least 10 years of experience
- Allowable substitutions:
- An AS or AA degree and an additional two (2) years of experience
- Four (4) years of experience may be substituted for a BS or BA degree
- Masters degree in Finance or related field is preferred
