Summary:
Hybrid position: Remote Mon, Thur, Fri.
Jobs in this family are responsible for developing, integrating, testing, maintaining, installing, and/or deploying of Workday and third party related components and related information system applications. In addition, they are responsible for the establishment, development, and promotion of standard architectures, as well as hardware and software components. This role provides consulting services regarding how to integrate information technologies into business processes and the effective application of industry and organizational technology standards.
Expected Activities:
- Implementation and configuration of Workday and related third party applications to meet user requirements.
- Development of enterprise architecture to support and deliver applications to users.
- Participation in application upgrades.
- Participation in the resolution of problems and issues associated with installed applications and related information technologies.
- Diagnosis of failures encountered in application software and related technologies.
- Confer with vendors to address system support issues and escalations.
- Change control process for all application implementations/enhancements prior to release to customers.
- Maintain an awareness of vendor and industry developments/plans in area(s) of responsibility.
- Develop reports and dashboards for activities occurring within supported applications.
- Participate in complex projects by developing and documenting business processes, system processes, and tasks associated with completing projects.
Qualifications:
- Position requires at least 4 to 5 years of direct experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Workday financial experience is preferred.
- A BA/BS degree in IS or Business is preferred.
- May have an equivalent combination of education and/or experience in lieu of education and/or experience stated above.
Additional Requirements:
- Solid experience in systems software/hardware, networks, and Windows operating systems.
- Knowledge of processes and tools utilized for system management, problem reporting, change management, and support tools.
- Technical troubleshooting skills.
- Interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of configuring and maintaining Workday modules.
- Knowledge of custom Workday reports and calculated fields, including BIRT and Composite reports.
- Knowledge of Workday integrations using EIB, Core Connector, and Workday Studio.
