Program Finance
As a member of Bell’s Program Finance team, you will be responsible for providing support to the Bell Program Finance team, Program Management, IPT Program Leaders and other leadership personnel in relation to Business Operations, Earned Value Management (EVM) and Financial Reporting. This position will support the recently awarded FLRAA program.
What you’ll be doing as a Financial Analyst
- Ensures integration and synchronization of cost and schedule EVM data
- Monitors, analyzes, and reports the earned value of program accomplishments
- Develops, explains, reviews, and tracks schedules to facilitate program execution
- Uses data mining techniques and applies knowledge of Bell Procurement, Pricing, Accounting and computer information systems (MRP, SAP, Accounting, Database/Access, etc.) to enhance, extract, and verify reporting information
- Prepares weekly updates to forecast data and identifies risk and opportunity items
- Explains financial variances to plan or prior forecast
- Works closely with Program Finance, Program Management, Contracts, Procurement, Subcontract Evaluation, Operations, Information Technology, Pricing, Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis and other functional organizations
Skills You Bring To this Role
- Strong analytical skills and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze and solve unstructured problems, and demonstrate initiative in making process improvements.
- Excellent computer skills, including Windows and Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be self-motivated and have strengths in customer support and dealing with ambiguity.
- Ability to analyze complex financial objectives, accounting issues, and provide alternative solutions or approaches.
What you need to be successful:
- 2+ years of experience in Finance/Accounting in Manufacturing and/or Aerospace & Defense experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related.
- Understanding of EVM and government contracting regulations.
- Multiple Textron Business Unit experience preferred
