The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis serves as a fiscal agent to the U.S Department of the Treasury, Bureau of the Fiscal Service. The Treasury Support Center (TSC) is a national help desk that provides support for 12 Treasury financial applications consisting of Fiscal Accounting (FA), Payment Management (PM), Debt Management Services (DMS), and Revenue Collections Management (RCM) programs.
About the role:
The Senior Analyst will provide second level help and training for the Treasury Support Center customer service representatives and support SharePoint site maintenance and access-management for the team. Reporting to an Assistant Manager, you will troubleshoot complex issues, work to identify solutions, and further escalate issues to application development staff or department management.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate and resolve complex customer access issues for multiple applications escalated from the Treasury Support Center Help Desk.
- Develop and facilitate training for Help Desk customer service representatives and ensure educational training materials are accurate.
- Assist management in planning and provide second level support for complex questions and issues related to recertification of multiple applications.
- Collaborate with application Central Business Application Function (CBAF) team and with Treasury to identify and troubleshoot problems including proposed solutions to issues impacting users.
- Help investigate security report issues.
- Conduct routine SharePoint site maintenance and access-management following records retention and security policies.
- Effectively document processes and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Maintain strong and effective working relationships with staff and management and ensure confidentiality of information.
Qualifications:
- In depth knowledge of Treasury Financial Management applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business or similar fields of study or commensurate experience.
- 2 years relevant experience.
- Experience designing and maintaining SharePoint as a site owner.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote), and Teams.
- Experience using Jira, Kanban, and SharePoint to track issues or tasks.
- Travel (5%)
- US Citizen or lawful permanent resident with three or more years of US residency.
- Candidates with less experience may be considered at lower levels.
