Immediate need for Sr Staff Accountant. Job Tasks and Responsibilities * Review invoices and check requests * sort and match invoices and check requests * set invoices up for payment * assist in weekly vendor payments * reconciliation of payments * prepare analysis of accounts * monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date * resolve invoice discrepancies * correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries * produce monthly reports * assist in month end closing * monitoring customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities * follow established procedures for processing receipts, cash etc. * prepare bank deposits * investigate and resolve customer queries * process adjustments * credit card entry, reconciliation set-up payments * prepare PO’s for Management * Prepare custom invoices * Year-end 1099’s * Prepare and file tax returns * reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts * general ledger operations * prepare journal entries * assist with monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial statements * prepare documentation for external auditors * assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable * assist with tax computations and returns * recommend ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue * account/bank reconciliations * assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures Education and Experience * Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required Email resume to David Allen at dallen(@)appleone.com
