Corporate Real Estate AnalystThis position will be responsible for various activities and tasks supporting HUB's Corporate Real Estate team. Hub International's real estate portfolio totals 650 office locations and 4 million square feet in North America. There are eighty active real estate projects and fifteen to twenty active design and construction projects at any given time.
This position is estimated to include 75% analytic and administrative tasks and 25% project related activities. This position reports to the VP of Real Estate who will manage workload and assign special projects.
Responsibilities:
- Create real estate comparisons of current and upcoming consolidations and relocations, inclusive of financial analyses and other operational / efficiency metrics.
- Gather and analyze headcount and attendance data and create summaries.
- Prepare monthly real estate and workplace metric reports.
- Assist with real estate and workplace presentations.
- Manage insurance requests for new offices and relocations.
- Track TIA payments with regional finance teams.
- Support regional teams by coordinating lease audits.
- Guide and support local teams during office relocations.
- Create and update project budgets.
- Support the Procurement team and regional teams with annual budgeting.
- Request project proposals & manage project vendors for: AV, security, data, furniture, carpet, lighting, signage, decommissioning, and move.
- Assist with CoStar database and OfficeSpace room reservation system.
- Develop Real Estate and Design databases: Photo, Floor Plan, Signage, Vendors, Specifications.
- Coordinate website and communications for HUB Standard Palettes.
- Content contributor and lead editor of the Real Estate home page on HUB intranet.
- Assist the Procurement Team with special projects.
- Assist with implementing new processes and procedures within Real Estate and Procurement.
- Assist in documenting current regional furniture and construction standards.
- Conduct design and product research to advance HUB's office standards and offerings.
- Assist in gathering user group information, equipment and storage needs, etc. for relocation projects.
- Coordinate copiers and equipment for relocation projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related field and/or 3-5 years of comparable experience
- Microsoft Office Suite experience, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of real estate, design, and construction processes
- Basic financial analysis skills
- Excellent communication skills and documentation practices
- High degree of professionalism and people skills
- Rare to no travel anticipated.
- AutoCAD experience is a plus, but not required.
