ROLE: Senior Manager – Credit Origination
Department: Commercial Banking
Position Functions:
To manage people, recruit, and ensure the development of a quality portfolio of corporate clients.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Negotiate sales objectives and sales action plans with Relationship Managers and Relationship Officers.
- Organize and supervise risk control within the business center.
- Plan tasks for Relationship Managers and Relationship Officers.
- Appraise and propose credit requests for approval.
- Ensure the products sales agenda of the bank is successful.
- Conduct periodic analysis of business performance, risk evaluation, and profitability.
- Organize and lead weekly business/performance meetings with Relationship Managers and Relationship Officers.
- Participate in the staff evaluation process on a quarterly basis.
- Perform any other business development duties that may be allocated from time to time.

- Ability to interpret, analyze, and evaluate data received from multiple sources of information.
Competences, Knowledge & Experience:
- A university degree in commerce, finance, or any related field.
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience in banking or a financial institution.
- Ability to manage and control a bank portfolio.
- Good understanding of banking operations and products.
- Proficiency in Microsoft desktop products, especially Excel.
