Job Description:
- Financial Modeling and Analysis: Develop complex financial models to evaluate strategic opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions, investments, and market expansion initiatives. Analyze financial data to provide insights into potential growth opportunities and risks.
- Strategic Planning Support: Collaborate with the SVP of Strategic Growth to develop and refine long-term strategic plans. Provide financial insights and recommendations to guide strategic decision-making and prioritize initiatives that align with corporate objectives.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess the effectiveness of growth strategies. Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and proactively recommend adjustments to enhance performance.
- Investment Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of potential investments, including ROI calculations, risk assessments, and scenario analysis. Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership to support investment decisions.
- Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to inform strategic planning and identify opportunities for growth. Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on market analysis.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with various departments, including Finance, Operations, and Business Development, to gather data, align strategies, and implement initiatives that drive growth and maximize shareholder value.
- Ad-Hoc Projects: Lead or support ad-hoc projects and initiatives as assigned by the SVP of Strategic Growth, providing financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to address business challenges and capitalize on opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, investment banking, consulting, or related roles.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and financial analysis.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with financial software and tools preferred.
