We are an industry leader, offering a suite of fleet management solutions, including spares distribution, logistics solutions, repair and overhaul services and technical solutions.
THE WORK
We are seeking a self-motivated Entry Level Accounts Payable Associate Accountant who is looking for a challenging work environment. The selected individual will be responsible for processing accounts payable, responding to supplier inquiries, investigating aged payables and other projects as assigned.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Processing inventory and non-inventory invoices into IFS (ERP system)
- Resolving aged payables
- Responding to supplier inquiries
- Follow up on aged checks and unclaimed property
- 1099 reporting
- Daily bank tie-out
- Supplier statement reconciliation
- Resolving purchase price variances with supply chain management
- Monitors and processes incoming e-mail inquiries into the AP Team group mailboxes
- Enters purchase requisitions into IFS in support of the Derco Maintenance Team
- Backup or assists in preparing customer packets
- Supports Finance Department Leadership as well as department goals and objectives by successfully completing other duties and projects as assigned

Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 year degree required
- Systems, tools and technology savvy including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks to meet the needs of both internal and external customers
Desired Skills:
- Ability to quickly obtain a working knowledge of the ERP system
- Experience processing and resolving accounts payable issues
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to problem solve and make recommendations for improvement
- Knowing fundamentals of accounts payable and GAAP

Ability to Work Remotely:
Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Schedule for this Position:
4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
