The Headlines:
In the role of Asset Care Manager working in our Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Brewery, you will be part of the Packaging team. You will have leadership of the day-to-day operation of the skilled trades maintenance teams in support of the brewery packaging operating teams. This position oversees all mechanical and electrical skilled trades in the packaging department as well as Maintenance Leads.
The Responsibilities:
- Key resource to ensure all safety procedures and protocols are in place for craft teams.
- Oversee maintenance operations and support for approximately 90 skilled craft employees.
- Build and execute staffing and budgetary plans for asset care within the packaging department.
- Professional development of Maintenance Lead resources within line Trios.
- Professional development of the Equipment Specialist Team leader.
- Development and execution of technical resource training and capability building.
- Participation in the Progressive Maintenance (PM) WCSC pillar.
- Department expert in Maintenance Planning and Scheduling DMS, metrics, and SWPs.
- Department lead for the utilization of breakdown elimination to determine and mitigate root causes for failures.
- Participate in the development and execution of capital projects in the packaging department.
- Apply technical resources in alignment with key business needs to deliver results.
The Other Qualifications:
- Engineering degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing operations and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of SAP as used to execute Maintenance Planning and Scheduling.
- Proven leadership of operating and/or maintenance teams.
- 5 plus years of operations experience with 3 plus years spent in maintenance leadership role preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a collaborative team in leading a large department.
