Position Summary
Responsible for regulating and authenticating financial transactions. Maintains a ledger to ensure effectiveness and accuracy of all accounting tasks.
Position Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end and year-end accounting close activities
- Month-end journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
- Expense tracking and GL management
- Assist with the preparation and analysis of plant financial reports
- Assist in establishing, implementing, maintaining and monitoring accounting control procedures and accounting policies
- Contribute to the preparation of quarterly and annual audits
- Ad hoc projects when applicable
Specific Knowledge, Skills Or Abilities Required
- Advanced Excel, Quick Books, ERP, and computer skills
- Bank and credit reconciliations experience
- Prepaid expense and fixed asset experience
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels throughout the company
- Budget experience
- Inventory accounting

Education
Position Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
CPA, CMA, or Master's degree a plus
Experience
4+ years of accounting experience
Oracle experience a plus
