Sphera is looking to hire a Financial Analyst who will play an integral role in the global forecasting, planning, and reporting processes. Primary responsibilities include formulating analysis of financial and operational data to support effective decision-making that aligns with strategic and operational goals.
Additionally, this role will provide ad-hoc analysis as needed for senior financial leadership. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, an interest in financial data systems, and the ability to design and implement reporting and processes.
Core Responsibilities
- Assist in the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes including the analysis of monthly financial results against budgets and re-forecasting annual and quarterly projections based on current financial information.
- Prepare and refine monthly and quarterly bank reporting as well as presentations for Executive and Board of Directors meetings.
- Work closely with sales and operations management to assist with the execution of budget and forecast commitments, including communication to management of both progress toward attainment and plans to affect course corrections as necessary.
- Prepare financial and operational KPIs, including analysis by segment, product lines, and professional service projects as well as modeling of operating expense trends, while identifying areas of opportunity to improve results.
- Collaborate with the product team to create new pricing models.
- Process commissions and sales incentive payments on a monthly basis.
- Conduct ad-hoc deep dives on pressing business issues across the business.
Qualifications And Skills
- 1-3 years of financial analyst experience with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Strong modeling skills in Excel.
- Intermediate PowerPoint and advanced Excel skills required.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fluid and fast-paced environment with changing responsibilities.
- NetSuite and Salesforce experience a plus, but not a requirement.
