Quanex is looking for a Business Analyst to join our team in St. Cloud, Minnesota or Mounds View, Minnesota.
In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing, maintaining, designing, testing and implementing systems in the operational environment. This includes supporting, training, and maintaining system documentation, as well as maintaining and analyzing complex application requirements as directed by project managers.

What’s attractive about the position?
- Pay: $77,000 - $115,000 annually, based on experience
- Monday – Friday position
What Success Looks Like:
- Ability to analyze and understand multiple applications to deliver measurable value to the business.
- Ability to identify potential system problems and propose functional solutions aligned with user needs.
- An understanding of the divisional impact of application requests and the ability to provide system direction in regard to the requests. Ability to actively participate in a culture which moves to systems standardization.
- Provides direction in new and existing technologies relevant to the Quanex business needs.
- Application of the Company’s business policy to daily system development and maintenance decisions.
- Ability to lead and/or facilitate any business requirement sessions with users.
- Translation of business needs into application solutions.
- An understanding and evaluation of the business implications of system development and maintenance issues.
Your Credentials:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
- 5-7 years of experience in Information Technology
- 2-3 years of experience working as an application administrator and with an understanding and hands-on experience working with multiple applications.
- SaaS administration experience preferred
- Exposure to multiple ERP systems a plus
