JOB SUMMARY:Medline Industries has an immediate need for a Senior Financial Analyst based at our headquarters in Northfield, IL. This role will seek to further Medline’s most strategic customer partnerships by providing sound financial and operational reporting, analysis, and counsel to Medline’s sales leaders and IDN (Integrated Delivery Network) customers. The position will lead strategic initiatives that address customer profitability in areas such as pricing, customer rebates, and item/facility level gross margin drivers. The right person for this role is a strong communicator and analytical thinker.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:- Analyze and understand drivers of IDN profitability.
- Leverage existing centrally produced financial and operational dashboards and build new reporting/dashboards to fit the needs of specific IDNs. Partner with internal and external stakeholders to understand the needs of each IDN and customize accordingly.
- Distribute dashboards to IDN Market Directors monthly with insightful commentary. Identify trends and anomalies and investigate root causes.
- Leverage advanced reporting and analysis tools when appropriate including Tableau and Alteryx.
- Partner with other members of the IDN Financial Analysis team to ensure consistency in reporting measures as well as the quality, look, and feel of all IDN reporting.
- Continually look for opportunities to drive process improvement and automation.

Education:- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
Relevant Work Experience:- At least 3 years of financial planning, reporting, and analysis experience.
Additional:- Experience working with an ERP system – SAP experience is a plus.
- Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel (PowerPivot, PowerQuery, sensitivity analysis, etc.).
- Some travel may be required (10%) to visit IDN sales teams and customers.
- Tableau experience preferred.
- SQL experience preferred.
- Alteryx experience preferred.
