Financial Analyst (AF FM)

Tallon is recruiting for a highly skilled Financial Analyst with experience supporting Air Force legacy FM systems to work in a client-facing role. As a key member of the team, this role will be crucial in managing and optimizing financial processes. This position is a direct hire to our client and offers a competitive W2 salary plus benefits.
Role and responsibilities include:
- Work with clients and stakeholders to understand their financial management needs and deliver customized solutions to meet their requirements.
- Apply your expertise in FM, Oracle, Qlik, and Power BI to analyze financial data, spot trends, and develop visually engaging reports and dashboards.
- Execute data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from various source systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Support in the implementation and upkeep of financial systems, offering guidance and support to end-users.
- Perform detailed financial analyses, reconciliations, and audits to ensure regulatory compliance and pinpoint areas for improvement.
- Provide financial advisory services, delivering insights and recommendations based on thorough analysis.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in financial management and technology, contributing innovative ideas to boost efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support 1-2 days per week on-site hybrid schedule.
Requirements include:
- U.S. citizenship.
- Current security clearance required for consideration (Secret at a minimum).
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Financial Management Analyst, within Air Force or DoD Headquarters.
- Experience working with Air Force SAF-FM is preferred.
- Experience working with Air Force FM legacy systems such as:
- Automated Business Services System (ABSS).
- Air Force Equipment Management System (AFEMS).
- Automated Funds Management (AFM).
- Civilian Pay Accounting Interface System (CPAIS).
- Central Procurement Accounting System (CPAS).
- Commanders’ Resource Integration System (CRIS).
- Proficiency working with business intelligence (BI) and data analytics tools such as Oracle, Qlik, and Power BI.
- A record of leveraging BI tools to drive meaningful insights and support decision-making.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work on-site 1-2 days per week.
