Job Overview:
Business Analyst (BA) with public housing case management or program experience is responsible for bridging the gap between ReFrame DevOps and the business using data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements, and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports to executives and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Gather and document customer requirements using Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
- Articulate and balance what is technologically feasible and financially & functionally reasonable how data-driven changes to process, products, services, software, and hardware can improve efficiencies and add value.
- Creating new models that support business decisions by working closely with the business to establish initiatives and strategies aimed at improving revenue and/or optimizing costs by creating a detailed business analysis to outline problems, opportunities, and solutions for a business.
- Create User Acceptance Test cases for ReFrame quality assurance analyst(s) and the business users.
- Actively monitor project progress by tracking activity; maintain and resolve technical issues related to cloud hosted instances; publishing progress reports; and recommending actions.
- Assist with performing functional testing of the product prior to the release to the client; identify, analyze and document issues, and provide possible solutions.
- Contribute to other ad hoc inquiries and assist on internal projects.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or related technology field OR 1-3 years of relevant experience in a customer-focused position involving technical knowledge of a company's products and services.
- Experience with low-income housing program management and/or solutions; forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis combined with data migration validation and understanding of key performance indicators.
- Strong understanding of regulatory & reporting requirements; strong analytical skills; ability to remain highly organized in a deadline driven environment, while maintaining strict attention to detail; and excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Thorough and comprehensive documentation skills with the ability to work independently (self-starter) to meet deliverables; prioritize and manage several milestones and projects efficiently.
- Comfortable working in and assisting others through company help desk software in addition to other remote access desktop programs.
- High Proficiency with analytical tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, SQL, Power BI, Visio and Adobe.
- Ability to travel 25-50%.
