Job Description:
Premier printing organization with multiple locations is searching to hire a Large Format Production Manager to oversee sign fabrication and installation at its Utah facility. Responsibilities include:
- Overall management of sign manufacturing and installation areas.
- Schedule and assign workloads to ensure jobs are completed on time meeting and/or exceeding client expectations.
- Evaluate production processes to identify any issues and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce downtime, errors, etc.
- Provide proper training to new and existing employees to improve their skills and overall performance.
- Keep accurate production records and report on Key Performance Indicators to management.
- Take part in the development of budgets and forecasts as related to production operations.
- Employee development.
- Create and implement cross-training programs so each function has a backup.
- Engage and encourage employees to foster a positive work environment.
Qualifications include:
- Minimum of 7 - 10 years' leadership experience in the large format digital printing industry; manufacturing and sign installation.
- Solid leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with good time management skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to foster a positive work culture and engage employees.
- Proficient in MS Office.
