Key Responsibilities
- Functions in a lead consultant role or as a technical specialist.
- May provide technical guidance over a group on consulting engagements.
- May manage and supervise a team and associated resources.
- May manage efforts from prospect to deliverable.
- Demonstrates capabilities with minimal supervision.
- Leads the production of multiple studies of comprehensive scope in practice area.
- Manages scope, schedule, and budget.
- Coordinates and prepares client deliverable.
- Actively coordinates with all internal/external team members.
- Communicates client interests and drivers to project team members and develops approaches to accommodate these concerns.
- Directs and coordinates consultant/specialist team in practice area on study assignments.
- Leads business development or pursuit activities.
- Manages development of comprehensive practice area proposals.
- May manage client relationships.
Minimum Qualifications
A minimum total of 8 years of related work experience is typically necessary to move into this level. Graduate work may count as related work experience if directly applicable to job function. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor degree in engineering or professional degree in Sciences in area of expertise preferred with specialized training, or experience that uniquely qualifies the individual to perform the job responsibilities.
