As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the activities of the Financial Planning & Analysis team. We are a strong team and looking to grow even stronger by adding a financial analyst to handle and improve some of our “easier” functions. But don’t worry, you won’t be stuck doing the same thing forever because there is much to learn and room to grow.
What you will do:
- Financial Data and Analysis: You will be perfect for this job if you have strong technical skills, particularly in Excel, and have experience in, or would like to learn to work with, our three major software programs:
- Maintain, expand, and improve financial reporting in Tableau
- Understand and extract data from our ERP, Workday
- Work with Adaptive, our company-wide administrative cost budgeting tool
- Use your creativity to share your analysis with both financial and non-financial users.
Ad Hoc Reporting and Analysis: There is a lot of opportunity here. We have more data in this place than there are stars in the universe and lots of curious minds that want to understand it to make better business decisions. We need someone resourceful, can learn from others, and can dive deep into the weeds but then pop back up to clearly communicate findings to the non-weed-eaters.
Written and Verbal Communication: We don’t want your work to die in your cube. We need you to find ways to share the brilliance of your work.
Other duties as assigned: No telling what they will be right now, but they will be fun!
What you will bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a similar field of study, or four years’ work experience. (Required)
- One year of financial analysis, business analysis, accounting, or audit experience. (Required)
- Self-starter with a thirst for learning.
- Proficient and fast in Excel skills (Required)
- Experience in Tableau, Workday, and Adaptive, or similar programs (Preferred)
What We Offer:
- Medical, vision and dental coverage
- Life and disability insurance
- Retirement programs (401K employer match and pension plan)
