Akima Logistics Services is looking for a Project Analyst to work in Huntsville, Alabama. Responsibilities
- Performs research and analysis in the development of program or project activities for one or more programs.
- Defines program requirements, identifies interdependencies with internal or external departments or service providers.
- Develops and disseminates communications regarding the project or program status.
- Tracks progress, adopts and provides ongoing reports to leadership/program sponsors.
- Performs work under direct supervision.
- Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Ensures all program data is current, complete, and ready for submission.
- Analyses databases to verify and track the completion of program's personnel (period of performance).
- Develops and plans best methods for meeting operational metric requirements.
- Participates in outside audits. May be assigned to take the lead in some cases.
- Monitors performance of assigned contract line items (CLINs).
- Reviews and approves all assigned personnel tracking reports verifying content and compliance.
- Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and other practices set forth by senior management.
- Submits accurate and on-time program deliverables to the customer.
- Supports Program/Project Manager with various tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Must have an Undergraduate degree in finance or similar.
- Must be proficient in various computer applications (i.e., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance when required.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with preparing, formatting, and reviewing reports of various formats desired.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical data and government regulations is preferred.
- Additional knowledge/skills may be required by the contract or assignment.
