CGI is seeking a Business Analyst to help us convert legacy application functionality into a more current technology environment. This system will be developed using the most advanced technologies and will be cloud-based using highly automated DevSecOps.

This role can be performed from Bloomfield, CT, Raleigh, NC, Austin, TX, Plano, TX or Lafayette, LA.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Identify and understand customer expectations, study existing business processes, program, and legacy system.
- Communicate key insights and findings to the product team by translating and simplifying the requirements.
- Ability to create customized reporting and mapping.
- Help design documents and maintain system processes.
- Prioritize initiatives based on the business needs and requirements.
- Perform user acceptance testing.
- Understand Business/Operational and IT Systems Analysis & Integration.
- Perform a functional analysis of existing systems/applications and document findings.
- Interact with both Business Partners and/or end-users as well as programmers, IT staff.
- Balance attention to detail while keeping the big picture in mind.
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
- 5 years of related experience working as a Business analyst / Functional analyst or a similar role.
- Strong in SQL skills, Snowflake/AWS.
- Proven experience in creating customized reporting and mapping.
- Experience in data analysis and data visualization to draw business-relevant conclusions.
- Expertise in planning and conducting facilitative sessions for requirements gathering.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team.
- Experience with creating a detailed report and giving presentations.
- Minimum 3-5 Years’ Experience In Claim Or Medical Economics.
- IIBA certification is preferred.
- Nice to have: Prior Healthcare Industry experience.
- Good hands-on experience in using SAS, SQL.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to: skill set level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $49,400- $116,000.
