Accounts Payable Clerk (CMA's Valley Stores)

Carter Myers Valley Honda is seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounts Payable Specialist. This role is crucial to the smooth operation of our dealership, ensuring that our financial house is in order.
Responsibilities:
- Review and approve vendor invoices for payment
- Process vendor payments according to the dealership's payment schedule
- Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure that payments are recorded correctly
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies with vendor invoices
- Prepare and submit reports to management
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or a related field
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
