Job Description: Located in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley in Staunton, Virginia. Come soak up the mountains and join our wonderful team! We are looking for a patient, dedicated, and passionate individual who is eager to grow with us! We offer a fully equipped gym space with rubber flooring, a private treatment room, therapeutic ultrasound, and 2 hydrotherapy pools. Additional Acupuncture and Chiropractic services are offered. If you have modalities to share, we would love to have you help build our rehab facility!
Key Responsibilities:
- Rehabilitative Care Expertise: Develop and implement individualized therapy plans using advanced rehabilitation techniques and equipment to improve pet mobility and alleviate pain.
- Client Communication: Build strong, trusting relationships with pet owners by clearly explaining diagnoses, treatment plans, and progress, providing education and support throughout the rehabilitation process.
- Medical Knowledge and Procedure: Perform comprehensive physical examinations, accurately diagnose conditions, and carry out rehabilitative procedures such as pool hydrotherapy, therapeutic exercises, and other modalities.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and support our team, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.
- Record Keeping: Maintain precise and thorough medical records for each patient, ensuring accurate documentation of treatment plans, progress notes, and client communications.
- Continuous Learning: Stay current with the latest advancements in veterinary rehabilitation and participate in ongoing personal and professional development.
We’re seeking someone who:
- Has a genuine passion in veterinary rehabilitation.
- Has prior primary care practice experience and ideally some hands-on rehabilitation experience (extensive on-the-job training is available).
- Has an eagerness to learn and grow, both personally and professionally.
- Brings strong clinical skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
- Enjoys working collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
- Demonstrates empathy and sensitivity towards the needs and emotions of both pets and their owners.

Minimum Requirements: Must be certified in canine rehabilitation OR currently enrolled in CCRT or CCRP courses with pending certification.
Starting: Production-based pay. Part-time, Full-time may be considered.
