We’re hiring a Financial In-Store Manager to oversee our financial centers inside H-E-B's flagship store in Prosper.
The Financial In-Store Manager will be responsible for direct oversight of our new In-store location – North Frisco In-Store Financial Center. This position is responsible for driving in-store performance, sales growth, and member satisfaction through visible leadership, performance management, collaborative key partnerships, prioritization, planning, and problem resolution while adhering to assigned center P&L and budgets. This also includes the day-to-day functions such as scheduling, evaluating productivity, and member/employee satisfaction, and the operational efficiencies for platform activities. This position will be responsible for the direct supervision of the financial consultants which includes hiring, terminating, promoting, mentoring, and coaching employees to their fullest potential, and setting clear direction. This position performs a broad variety of member service functions such as opening business and consumer accounts, CDs, IRAs, and HSAs using needs-based selling techniques, interviewing, processing loan applications, and solving complex member and operational issues.
The In-store Manager is directly responsible for creating and maintaining a strong customer-centric culture and is the primary mentor for the in-store teams. The role fulfills both a player and coach role in achieving team and individual sales goals by delivering product/service 'value' and differentiating solutions that address clearly understood customer needs. The position will set the tone by providing on-site leadership, motivation, and direction for the in-store staff, integrating products and services with member needs, and educating members on credit union and financial center technology i.e. ITMs and digital space to show members the easy accessibility of our mobile and online experience. Responsible for lobby floor management that includes answering incoming calls, concierge for in-store, greeting all members, and assisting or directing members to appropriate technology.
As an ambassador for our brand, the In-Store Manager will be a visible leader and be responsible for expanding relationships with EECU members and acquiring new relationships by providing needs-based products and services. The role will be required to deliver a high-quality member experience while using their knowledge of multiple products and will identify, diagnose, and act on members’ consumer financial needs.

Qualified candidates will possess the following skills and knowledge:
- Three to five years minimum experience in retail financial services, financial center leadership, or related experience.
- A significant level of trust, credibility, and diplomacy is required. Must be capable of exercising the highest level of discretion on both internal and external confidential matters including direct and indirect reports and outside vendors.
- Excellent customer and business focus, with strong change management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to perform responsibilities with composure under the stress of deadlines/requirements for extreme accuracy and quality and/or fast pace.
- Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities.
- Must be a proven leader of people within a customer service environment.
- Experience coaching employees and leadership to increase production, sentiment, and overall retail performance.
- Experience with sales processes, operations, and data analytics.
- Must possess problem-solving and resolution skills. Ability to identify and break down complex business problems and develop recommendations.
- Ability to successfully influence employee behaviors.
- Must be an excellent communicator both oral and written.
- Excellent organization and time management.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- High School Diploma or equivalent. College Degree preferred.
