Responsibilities:
- Assist the director in performing accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payables transactions.
- Reconcile accounts payables transactions (Consolidated billings and single)
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
- Transaction entries for consolidated billing
- Post transactions to ledgers- due to from
- Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
- Provide supporting documentation for audits
- Assist in month-end close to meet required deadlines
- Get mail-open, date received stamp, and sort by facility
- Responsible for entering, reconciling, and paying vendors for a few assisted livings and nursing homes.
- Process payment on Med A claims-follow through the proper procedure/protocol
- Post monthly and process payment on all Medical Directors/Rents/Autos/Insurance(s)
- Help in reconciling some of the larger accounts/vendors
