Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Business Analyst to work for our company.
Summary:
- Client Agency is DHS.
- Must be able to pass DHS Background check (Basic eligibility requirements include: U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history, no recent or pending bankruptcies).
- Will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and translate them into detailed specifications and user stories. Will lead Agile processes and be a key to driving efficient and effective project delivery.
Requirements:
- Must be able to pass DHS Background check (Basic eligibility requirements include: U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history, no recent or pending bankruptcies).
- Must have a CSM certification or other Agile certification.
- Must have 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Must have a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
- Must have previous experience working with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Trello.
- Must have previous experience writing and refining user stories, managing product backlogs, and facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Must have exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Must be located within 50 miles of Camp Springs, MD.
