Summary: The Sr. Analyst is responsible for defining and executing investment strategies for clients of First Foundation Advisors. This position is responsible for security selection, idea generation, research, financial analysis/modeling valuation, and portfolio construction. Serve as a member of the Investment Committee, primary responsibility is work on Strategic Core Equity Strategy with secondary responsibility to Fixed Income, Disc Growth & Dividend Income.
Salary Range: The salary range in CA for this role is $116,000 to $145,000 and represents the Company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.
Duties And Responsibilities:
- Employee is responsible for adherence to all compliance programs and the completion of all required and assigned training by established due dates.
- Understand and comply with requirements of all laws and regulations applicable to the position.
- Oversee and manage the firm’s Disciplined Growth Equity Strategy as well as co-manages with Strategic Core Equity Strategy.
- Educate and inform relationship managers about portfolio strategies, investment processes, and individual equities.
- Partner with the Investment Committee on the investment suggestions, opinions, and actions including overall asset allocations and specific investment recommendations.
- Assist in shaping the firm’s economic and market outlook and overarching investment strategy.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position may have direct supervisory responsibilities.

Education And/or Experience:
- Master’s degree required.
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification required.
- Minimum of 10 to 15 years of related experience in the financial industry.
Skills:
- Must have strong equity research skills.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and verbal/written communication skills.
- Strong ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
- Solid problem-solving and conflict-resolution aptitude.
- PC proficiency, including Advanced Excel.
- Must have the ability to deliver solid presentations.
- Must possess strong and effective oral and written communication, and client service skills.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
