Summary:
The Senior Financial Analyst supports the Aesthetics & Reconstruction US commercial organization. You will collaborate cross-functionally with regional and global teams such as Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Demand Planning. Strong strategic thinking, quantitative skills, experience in business modeling, and the ability to collaborate effectively will be essential for success in this role. The ideal candidate will be comfortable making and validating assumptions, demonstrating strong business acumen in leading ownership for P&L management, monitoring the external environment and key competitors, and possess excellent communication skills. This role allows for upward mobility across the enterprise following demonstration of strong performance.
Responsibilities
- Play a crucial role in supporting our business partners by conducting detailed and analytical reviews of financial data related to Commercial activities. You will provide valuable insights and assist in making informed business decisions.
- Proactively partner with Commercial Sales and Marketing leaders to align financial targets, track project investments, and address business issues.
- Manage all aspects of financial updates including Business Plan and Long Range Financial Plan to ensure the accuracy and compliance of monthly forecasting and closing cycles.
- Lead financial close management including analysis of costs, pricing, variable contribution (margin), and sales results.
- Support integration workstreams to help onboard business into J&J’s financial landscape, systems, and processes (SigniFi).
- Identify and assess potential process improvement opportunities aligned with the organization’s strategic priorities.
- Serve as the commercial lead for Commercial efforts for potential agreements or strategic partnerships.
- Develop comprehensive business cases to evaluate the financial viability and impact of commercial opportunities.
- Build and refine robust business models to quantify the potential value and risks associated with different growth scenarios.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather data, insights, and market information vital for informed decision-making.
- Monitor and analyze key competitors, industry trends, and market dynamics to identify areas of potential growth and risk mitigation.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and executive teams, providing strategic guidance based on thorough analysis.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related quantitative discipline is required.
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in Finance, Accounting, or related Business experience is required.
- Strong quantitative skills and experience in building financial models and performing rigorous business analysis is required.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to think analytically and conceptually to influence business partners is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey complex information to stakeholders at all levels is required.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with teams such as Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Demand Planning, and regional and global commercial leads is preferred.
- Results-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously is required.
- Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is required.
- Up to 5% business travel may be required.
