With the guidance of the Director, FP&A – Data & Analytics, and leveraging Microsoft PowerBI, this position will support and enhance current Power BI data models while also developing new Power BI data models to track key business initiatives. Individuals in this position are expected to develop a broad knowledge of Waystar’s business, industry, and operations to support analysis and decision making at all levels of the organization.

Support and enhance current Power BI data models
Gather, combine, and analyze data from a variety of sources and systems
Proactively and independently identify opportunities for improvement
Drive business value and performance through innovative data analytics
Develop and implement new metrics of business, financial, and operational performance
Automate and streamline business processes to arrive at the right answer faster
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Do you fit our team?
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, accounting, data science, data analytics or computer studies preferred
1-3 year(s) of similar work experience or educational emphasis in data analytics required
Experience using 1 or more of the following tools: Power BI, Power Query, SQL, Python, or R
Ability to take new skills and quickly apply them to work processes & reporting
Base understanding of dimensional modeling concepts
