The Senior Finance Manager will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all financial-related activities. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic financial planning, deal analysis, and partnership compliance. Salary: 100K - 200K
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Direct and oversee all aspects of the finance and accounting functions of the organization, including FP&A, accounting, account payable and receivable tracking and collection, governance, treasury, and tax.
- Provides leadership in the development and continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives.
- Responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of corporate fiscal strategy and budgeting process.
- Drives fiscal accountability across the organization through well-defined and executed yearly budgeting, monthly accounting, and forecasting processes.
- Manages consolidation of all financial reporting across the organization and the systems and tools used.
- Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning and introduction of new programs/strategies.
- Evaluate and advise on the company’s cash flow position with supporting tracking methodology.
- Provides executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities.
- Provides recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
- Ensures that effective internal controls are in place and ensures compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
- Provides oversight to the execution of all outsourced tax execution for the company.
Requirements
- CPA or willing to obtain.
- BS Finance or Accounting or related field.
- 5+ years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles across multiple divisions.
- Expert knowledge of working across various financial reporting systems.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
- Strategic and creative thinker.
- Expert experience reading, extracting, and leveraging data.
- Expert in Microsoft Office programs, especially in Excel.
- Superior and empathetic customer service and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Excellent presentation skills, development, and delivery.
- Ability to demonstrate a high degree of leadership and mentorship.
- Comfortable working in a team environment and the ability to work autonomously.
- Working experience with data reporting tools.
- Using Tableau and Advantage (similar expertise in accounting software required).
- SQL coding experience is a big plus but not required.
