SetPoint Consultants is a national recruitment firm specializing in the Title, Mortgage, Legal, Financial, and Customer Service industries. Our client, a growing Texas title company, is looking for an experienced Escrow Accounting Specialist.
Candidates must have 3-4 plus years of Bookkeeping and Reconciliation experience in the Title/Escrow/Mortgage industry. Candidates who have worked in similar roles with a real estate law firm are also encouraged to reply.
This is a permanent position upon hire and is NOT temp.
Salary range is $50,000-$70,000/yr.
Job Responsibilities
The candidate will be reconciling escrow trust accounts on a monthly basis. The reconciliation procedures are based on best practices for the Title Insurance industry and the company's escrow trust accounting control and audit guidelines. The candidate will maintain and enter all reconciliation results in the software system and will communicate reconciliation results with the QA team and other management. The candidate will also prepare and maintain invoices for payment on services provided.
Candidate must be able to work well under pressure and be able to work well with others.

Job Requirements
- 4 Years of bookkeeping and reconciliation experience required. (2+ years of experience working in an escrow accounting position is desired)
- Superior math skills
- Banking experience (wiring, deposit, transfers)
- Excellent computer skills including Excel, MS Word, and Sharepoint
- Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbal
- Skill to multi-task, prioritize and work in a deadline-driven environment
- Ability to pass complete criminal and credit background checks
