Division Information
Dynacraft, a PACCAR Company, is headquartered in McKinney, TX. Dynacraft performs assembly, light manufacturing and distribution for PACCAR truck plants and the aftermarket. For more than forty years, Dynacraft has provided high quality components, subassemblies, and specialized services. Dynacraft's manufacturing facilities are located in Louisville, KY and McKinney, TX.
Requisition Summary
The company is looking for an energetic leader to have a significant impact as the Business Process Analyst. The successful candidate will be expected to work with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams to perform solution designs, functional testing, best practice recommendations, functional leadership, and guidance. This position will research and resolve production problems, work closely with stakeholders to refine technical detail into user stories with acceptance criteria. You will work independently to resolve complex issues and suggest alternative approaches to solving problems, test and conduct quality assurance (such as peer review), and implement quality application and its associated documentation, adhering to and enforcing software development methodology to team & departmental guidelines on projects and production support.
This position will be located onsite in either Louisville, KY or McKinney, TX.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for analyzing a business area to ensure they understand and are making full use of application capabilities.
- Document business processes or system integrations with technology for projects.
- Analyzing problems and develop strategies for testing and resolution.
- Maintaining business system functionality while facilitating improvements to production.
- Supports requirements gathering and translation to the development team on projects.
- Work with management and users to define, develop, and implement innovative business solutions.
- Follows System Development Life Cycle and AGILE methodology.
- Collaborate with internal customers and developers to review solutions, test new system functionality based on business processes, and recommend changes based on IT best practices.
- Document and provide systems training for business partners.
- Coordinate QA/user testing and training including the subsequent change control scheduling and documentation for production releases of software.
Qualifications and Skills
- 3-5 years IT Business Analyst Experience
- Experience supporting SAP in one or more areas: PP, MM and SD, IDOCs (Required)
- Experience supporting multiple applications in a production environment
- 1 - 2 years' business experience in a manufacturing environment (Required)
- 1 - 2 years' project management experience; requirements analysis activities, interacting with project managers, stakeholders, and developers.
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated skill in collaborating with internal/external individuals and teams to drive solutions
- On-call availability for business support (periodically)
- Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and quality
Education / Training Required
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, or other related area desired.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged sitting and manual dexterity are required.
- This position is in an office/desk work setting.
- Ability to travel (up to 10%)
