Matrimonial and Valuation Senior Manager
Responsibilities
- Work closely with leaders to manage cases from start to finish, with a primary focus on family law and business valuation.
- Work with team members to ensure accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and research.
- Attend mediations and meet with clients, attorneys, and opposing experts.
- Testify at hearings and trials on various aspects of the cases.
- Prepare reports that ensure analysis adequately supports conclusions reached.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to staff to help facilitate staff development.
- Manage the assignment budget and profitability.
- Take a lead role in managing engagements and client interactions.
Qualifications
- Experience and comfortability in testifying at hearings and trials on various aspects of case work.
- Strong business valuation and analysis skills.
- Demonstrates proven ability to take a project from start to finish with minimal guidance.
- Demonstrates ability to lead, motivate, develop, and coach teams.
- Demonstrates proven ability to compile and complete reports from start to finish.
- Strong interpersonal skills and active participation in networking.
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
- Minimum 5+ years of related experience.
- B.S. degree in accounting, finance, or economics required.
- ASA, CFA, CPA or valuation credential required.
Additional Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, with partners, staff, fellow department members, and clients.
- Demonstrated ability to support projects from inception through completion and willingness to work the hours necessary to get the work done, especially with important department deadlines.
- Skilled in problem-solving and the ability to multi-task several duties at once and prioritize them.
- The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
