SAIC is looking for a Program Analyst to join our team at the Army Game Studio in Huntsville, AL.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, collaborative, and fast-paced environment supporting the U.S. Army Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC) in program tasking execution.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and reviews of JROTC project documentation to include project plans, timelines, requirements, milestones, and reports.
- Analyze project data on a continuous basis to identify any potential business risk factors or technology gaps and gain insight for process improvements.
- Track and support project progression.
- Create reports to update local command and program office sponsors regarding the status of active tasking.
- Work closely with the project teams to offer individualized support and gather requirements for assigned tasking.
- Review and provide tasking status reports and resource allocation.
- Provide logistical support by means of tracking and recording deliverables.
- Attend leadership meetings to support tracking of project actions.
- Facilitate meetings using electronic tools (e.g. Microsoft Teams).
- Coordinate all administrative and logistical requirements for meetings, as required.
- Organize and facilitate internal and external communications on a wide array of subjects including internal and external tasks, program reviews, meetings, and resources.
- Gather information; articulate, analyze, and solve problems; visualize and present information; and provide decision support.
- Proactiveness, motivation to work in a collaborative environment, and ability to balance multiple projects while meeting strict deadlines are critical to success in this position.
- Serve as a member of the planning team as well as the execution team, tracking future/planned projects as performance trends weekly.
- Support customer with other tasks as assigned duties related to program management, execution, and communications.
Qualifications
Education Requirements:
- Bachelors and three (3) years or more of related experience; Additional four (4) years experience can be accepted in lieu of degree.
Clearance Requirements:
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a full Secret clearance; Minimum of an interim Secret clearance required to start; US Citizenship required.
Required Experience/Skills:
- Knowledge of the complexities and requirements associated with project planning, tracking and oversight.
- Ability to monitor and evaluate schedule and activities.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments as required.
- Knowledge of correspondence and writing procedures and practices.
- Ability to communicate (transmit and receive) tactfully to ensure accomplishment of functions.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; familiarity with DoD writing style guidelines and formatting standards.
- Advanced skills with MS Office tools, particularly MS Teams and Excel.
- A strong track record of taking initiative, adding insight, and contributing to a small team operating in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work across organizations with diverse stakeholders to build consensus and drive decision-making.
- Must be a self-starter and flexible with rapidly evolving priorities.
- Must have excellent time management and organizational skills.
Desired Experience/Skills:
- Prior military experience and basic knowledge of the JROTC program.
