The Team: By leading both the Client Engagement and Client Support Teams, the head of Client Success North America is responsible for retaining and developing business with existing WSO clients.
Responsibilities and Impact:By leading the proactive Client Engagement and reactive Client Support Teams, you're responsible for maintaining and growing revenue within WSO accounts and collaborating appropriately with other parts of S&P Global to widen and deepen the relationship S&P Global has with the client.
- Manage complex existing relationships, as well as molding internal processes.
- Identify and execute on upselling and cross-selling opportunities from existing strategic clients.
- Utilize market knowledge and intelligence gleaned from clients to work collaboratively with Enterprise Solutions Product Development and other segments of S&P Global in order to maximize opportunities and develop new products.
- Analyze business needs for key strategic accounts and develop solutions and product enhancements and new development opportunities to maintain and grow business.
- Broad understanding of the business needs of key stakeholders in the Lending industry (Asset Managers, Banks, Hedge Funds, etc).
- Broad knowledge of S&P Global Rating's & S&P Global's products and services and how they relate to customers.
- Ability to understand customer problems and implement a solution strategy to meet the client's needs.
- Excellent understanding of key market trends in S&P's key market sectors (Banks, Insurance, Corporates, Structured Products) in North America.
Compensation/Benefits Information:(This section is only applicable to US candidates)S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $110,000 to $190,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
What We're Looking For:Basic Qualifications:Bachelor Degree plus 5 - 10 years of experience in financial services and/or relationship management.
Skills:- Demonstrated strength in effective influencing, negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing. Public speaking skills and the ability to deal with people at all levels within an organization.
- Strong commercial acumen and an understanding of how to monetize solutions and drive product development.
- The incumbent must display high energy levels and a "can do" attitude.
- Strong emotional intelligence and team player attitude.
