About the role:
The Pricing & Contracting Analyst II will be a member of the Boston Scientific’s Corporate Accounts and Healthcare Solutions Team supporting BSC’s Interventional Cardiology and Structural Heart (ICTx) Sales Force and internal operations. This position interfaces and supports sales and operations teams with responsibilities for managing and supporting the lifecycle of a contract. This role requires a high level of business acumen, customer service focus, multi-tasking skills, contract management, comprehensive organizational skills, and analytical ability.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage the implementation and maintenance of customer contracts in BSCs Contract Management systems. This includes, but is not limited to, initial creation, modifying, and monitoring the accuracy of contracts.
- Serve as the primary facilitator of all new product launches for Boston Scientific’s ICTx customers. Activities include partnering with the Field Sales Organization to analyze price requests, prepare amendments, update the contracting system, and manage external price files for sales field use.
- Coordinate with the sales organization on customer requests by analyzing the data and suggesting strategic solutions.
- Maintain a complete understanding of contract requirements to ensure all relevant contract administrative obligations are met in a timely and accurate manner.
- Work cross-functionally with legal, finance, and marketing as well as other BSC divisions to ensure effective workflow throughout the contract lifecycle and consistent process execution.
- Maintain an understanding of the U.S. healthcare market and how changes will affect the ICTx Division.
- Support internal reporting requirements as it pertains to contract performance, customer required reports, sales facing reports (e.g. Market Share reports), and GPO analysis for Administrative Fees, Price Bands, and Customer Hierarchy quantifications.
- Present analysis and recommendations on contract proposals concisely and accurately to senior management.
- Perform additional activities as required, including but not limited to contract audits, analyzing and processing credits as required, and customer inquiries.
Required qualifications:
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree.
- Minimum 3 years of Accounting/Finance, Sales Operations, and/or Contract Management experience.
- Skills in Microsoft Office applications, Intermediate to Advanced Excel.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with Business Intelligence platforms, and exposure to Model N, SAP, or other Contracting/Revenue Management systems.
- Comprehensive experience supporting the negotiations of complex agreements and ongoing contract management.
- Highly motivated, high impact individual with strong organizational, communication, and directional competencies to work effectively with a sales organization.
- Highly detailed oriented, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and have experience supporting a sales organization.
- Display strong individual management skills, including effectively managing multiple priorities.
