Job Summary:
Provident Energy Consulting’s Sr. Energy Analyst will support energy procurement services, provide account management and maintenance for existing clients, facilitate onboarding new clients, and maintain the systems and data supporting client management and market intelligence. The successful candidate will be the primary contact for customer support and post-deal account management, responding to requests and inquiries to enhance and maintain customer satisfaction.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prepare account data for RFPs to multiple Energy Generation Companies (EGS)/Load Serving Entities (LSE)/Retail Energy Providers (REP) for electricity and natural gas pricing opportunities for clients.
- Collect and accurately enter data (utility bills and/or other monitored energy consumption).
- Maintain Provident’s energy application through utility tariff updates, monthly NYMEX input, customer account accuracy and energy usage updates.
- Manage utility account changes, including new and dropped accounts.
- Obtain and maintain customer location square footage data supporting EUI Reporting.
- Utilize energy application to prepare energy consumption, energy budget, and efficiency data reports for current and prospective clients.
- Track and record daily and monthly trends in the natural gas and electricity markets.
- Understand and operate industry databases such as Utilities’ Eligible Customer Lists.
- Support Client Management & Business Development activities.
- Attend applicable client meetings, trade shows and conferences with other Provident Energy team members.
- Support Provident Energy sister companies (Legence Companies) in their functions as Energy Service Contractors, design engineers, construction managers, and other related activities.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients through regular communications and customer service.
- Support the preparation of energy market and purchasing presentations to new and potential clients.
- Act as interface between client and EGS/LSE/REP for issue resolution.
- Responsible for contract and budget file management and distribution to clients.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- Two+ years of related experience required.
