Action Property Management seeks a Full-Time Access Control Lead for Woodside Homeowners Association in Sacramento.
The Access Control Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the access control system and managing a team of Access Control Officers. This role ensures the safety and security of the property and its residents by implementing and maintaining effective access control procedures.
How You'll Make an Impact (Job Responsibilities)
- Team Management:
- Hire, train, and supervise a team of Access Control Officers.
- Evaluate employee performance, provide feedback, and address any issues.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Access Control System Management:
- Monitor and maintain the property's access control system, including hardware, software, and databases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the access control system.
- Implement and enforce access control policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of access control systems to ensure compliance.
- Security Protocols:
- Develop and implement comprehensive security protocols to protect the property and its residents.
- Respond to security incidents and emergencies in a timely and effective manner.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and other security agencies as needed.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and submit regular reports on access control activities, incidents, and trends.
- Analyze data to identify potential security risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and visitors.
- Handle inquiries and complaints related to access control professionally and promptly.
Who You Are (Skills & Qualifications)
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in security management or a related field. Supervisory experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in access control systems and security technologies.
- General computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and the ability to learn and operate the property management software utilized by Action Property Management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Valid driver's license.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Salary: $21 - $22 an hour
Schedule: M-F: 8am-4pm
