This is a Sr Financial (FP&A) Analyst role that will report to the Sr Manager of Business Control for the after sales Services and Spares business unit. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will work with a highly visible, flexible, global and collaborative team in a fast-paced semiconductor equipment manufacturing environment. This position will require the application of business and financial acumen to support the business on improving operational efficiencies and achieving its KPI and performance metrics.
The ideal candidate is a creative and passionate analytical problem-solver who acts quickly, is comfortable in a hands-on role and is motivated to develop new approaches. This position requires a solution-oriented candidate with a combination of business acumen, knowledge of financial best practices, and foremost an analytical mindset.
Main responsibilities include the forecasting, budgeting, and closing of business financial statements, as well as identifying and explaining variances, and providing financial insights to aid in decision-making. The candidate must have the ability to analyze various new business models, resolve operational challenges and support the regions to achieve its full P&L targets.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be a trusted business partner to the Spares and Services business stakeholders, as well as to the rest of the finance team.
- Supporting the business in efficiently managing its operating expenses and strategic program investment costs – full P&L responsibilities.
- Budgeting/Forecasting/Estimating/Actuals: Quarterly/Annual budget preparation, monthly financial forecasting and variance analysis to actual results.
- Develop projections for Profit & Loss supporting the business unit leadership team with projected and actual spending through weekly, monthly, & quarterly reporting and reviews.
- Support deliverables required for internal and external audits.
- Manage inventory controls for the customer/supplier consignment inventory.
- Ad-hoc analysis and designing/executing solutions to automate ongoing activities such as data mining, financial modelling, and OpEx forecasting.
- Support and implement new business process flows when new business opportunities are identified by account team.
- Proactively work on ad-hoc cross-functional finance projects.
- Able to influence financial decision makers with data, analysis, metrics, process creation/improvement, and operation execution alignments.
- Communication & Coordination: Ability to communicate effectively with peers and management.
EXPERIENCE
- Previous role on an FP&A position performing forecasting activities for the business.
- Demonstrate ability to interact and influence various functional teams across the organization.
- Experience in month close activities, reporting, and forecasting.
- Knowledge of financial/accounting concepts (preferable IFRS).
- Experience in data visualization and making presentations to department, senior and middle management.
- Previous experience with fully integrated SAP, ERP systems.
- Experience working in a global organization.
EDUCATION
- BS/MS Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5 - 10 years of Finance related work experience.
- CPA Certification / MBA desirable.
- Preferred experience in semiconductor or similar high technology industry.
