Located in the Phoenix Ariz. suburb of Chandler, the Chandler Regional Medical Center is a 338-bed not-for-profit hospital with more than 2500 employees and almost 1000 doctors on staff representing all major specialties. Chandler Regional joined the Dignity Health system in 1999 but has been part of the community for more than 50 years. The hospital includes a Level I Trauma Center, a Heart and Vascular Center, a Wound Healing Center, a Family Birth Center, and many additional services. During the fiscal year ending June 30, 2016, Chandler Regional provided more than $48 million in community benefit. Responsibilities
We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst candidate to join our team! This role provides accurate and timely information to management by identifying opportunities, sourcing information, collecting and analyzing data, performing workflow analysis, conducting statistical analysis, determining benchmarks, and designing and measuring process improvements. The candidate will effectively lead a team of financial professionals to achieve goals.
Responsibilities Include:
- Provides financial analysis and reports.
- Creates and monitors yearly operating and capital budgets.
- Provides training on financial reports and software to the management team.
- Consolidates and interprets financial information for Senior Management, including MOR packet preparation and review.
- Ensures integrity and accuracy of financial analyses developed.
- Identifies and implements improved methodologies to accumulate, store, process, and report data.
- Prepares complex forecasted financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheets, Cash Flows, and Statements of Changes in Net Assets).
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Five (5) years accounting or finance experience with at least two years in a tertiary hospital setting.
- Master's degree and CPA OR eight (8) years related experience with BA degree in related field required.
