Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to collect, analyze, and interpret financial data. Each day, you will update budgets and forecasting models and identify trends and problems. You will also showcase your expertise by communicating insights and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and optimize business outcomes. The work model for the role is: #LI- Onsite, #LI - Hybrid This role is contributing to the ABB Services in ABB. You will be mainly accountable for: • Performing analysis of business performance versus budget and forecast. • Performing closing activities and MIS reports for the respective business / functions. • Working with the other financial professionals in Divisions / Hubs / Countries / Functions to know and examine the drivers of financial performance and identify trends. • Financial analysis for various "what if" scenarios and investigation and the overall impact to the Divisions. • Performing cost and analysis of inventories, NWC. Preparing and examining ad-hoc reports as per division's / function's request. • Assisting preparation of relevant organization financial reporting, business planning & forecasting. Validating accuracy of financial data and business information and reports by performing reconciliation and review of exceptions • Dynamic participation in business process /project reviews / functions review, assisting in target setting, & strategic planning & inspecting performance of portfolio for various segments and presenting financial dashboards for business review. • Providing training to FP&A Analysts and onboarding of new employees. Ensure SOPs are prepared and updated regularly for all activities performed by the team
Qualifications for the role- Strong problem solving skills.
- At least 5-year experience in Accounting and Finance with 3+ years of experience in FP&A is preferable.
- Education: CMA Qualified/CA/ MBA Finance preferred
- Thorough / detail-oriented approach.
- Strong communication skills.
- Hands on experience in SAP FICO and COPA modules. Experience with MS Office
- Ability to work with diverse teams across different countries.
- Self-motivated
